Alonso had left for Spain at an early age (10), he left for Spain at such an early age to learn the arts of being in the navy. He graduated and joined the navy in 1657, but then he moved to Nuevo León and became a salesman for about two decades. Since he sold those entradas (I don't know those are...sorry), he became an entrepreneur. He then later heard that there was a French settlement near his town. Knowing that they were going to end up messing up the trading that went on around his and the neighboring towns, he got a little army and led expeditions to try and force them out. On his third expedition, he had finally found an exposed, confused, aged man. On his last expedition (the fourth) he finally found the French settlement. He found no settlement though, he found the ruins of what was left of it. Then, he ended up retreating to Coahuila. He became the mayor of the town for 3 then died for reasons I am unable to find out.
